1. Potato juice:

Antioxidant and analgesic properties of cucumber relief discomfort, redness, burning sensation and sunburn. You can use cucumber in many ways like blending or squeezing out the juice and can apply directly on your affected area. You can mix some honey with it also.

3. Witch Hazel Extracts:
Hazel can soothe any skin inflammation like eczema to allergy. When it’s about sunburn witch hazel extracts can give you more comfort than anything. In a bowl take 3-4 tsp. of witch hazel extracts and soak cotton balls for 5-10 minutes. Apply the cotton balls on your affected area. You can repeat it how many times you can do or until you feel relief from sunburn.

4. Apply Ice Or Take Ice Bath:
Sunburn is when too much hot temperature gets in touch with your skin. Applying ice on the affected area is really very easy and cool thing to do. It will make you feel relieved from burning and itching sensation. If the sunburn is in huge area then take an ice bath in tub. Make sure the water is that much cold how much you can bear.

5. Make a Sunburn Cream at Home: 
It’s a little bit surprising for you may be! But with some useful sunburn soothing ingredients you can easily make a sunburn cream at home.
What You Would Need To Make Sunburn Cream At Home:
Aloe Vera gel (1 teaspoon)
Witch hazel (1 tablespoon)
Cornstarch/ baking soda (2-4 teaspoons)
Peppermint oil (1 teaspoon)
Fresh water ( 2 tablespoons)

How You Would Make Sunburn Cream:
In a bowl mix water, aloe Vera gel and witch hazel. Stir the mixture very finely and let it rest for 2-3 hours. Then mix cornstarch and peppermint oil. Keep it in fridge in an airtight bottle. Keep it along with you in a sunny day and apply as much as needed on sunburn.

6. Aloe Vera Gel:
Aloe Vera gel works for everything like acne to heartburn and also for sunburn. You can buy it from store. But it’s better if you grow aloe Vera at your home. Aloe Vera gel has multiple soothing elements so apply it on the affected area.

7. Apple Cider Vinegar:
Apple cider vinegar is really helpful for sunburn. In a spray bottle take vinegar and spray on the affected area. You can also soak cotton balls into vinegar and apply the cotton balls on your affected area.

8. Yoghurt:
Sunburn is a big problem until you don’t know the common uses of the ingredients of your home. Plain yoghurt has enzymes and pro-biotic that is helpful for skin inflammation. It heals any kind of skin problem. Apply a thick layer of plain yoghurt in your sunburn for 20-30 minutes. It will greatly remove sunburn.

9. Cool milk:
Milk has a lot of usefulness in health. To eliminate discomfort of skin, irritation and sensation of sunburn only cool milk is quite enough. In a bowl of cool milk soak a soft cloth until it absorb as much milk as it can soak. Pour the cloth on your sunburn. If the cloth loses its coolness then absorb the cloth again and repeat applying on your sunburn.

10. Drink Cool Water:
Sunburn is all about drying your skin and then makes it burn. All you have to save yourself from sunburn is drink a lot of cool water. Whenever you are outside or in a sunny day keep a chilled water bottle all the time. Drink water after a while again and again. If your body is full of H20 you wouldn’t experience any sunburn.

11. Cornstarch or Baking powder:
Cornstarch or baking powder is silky in texture and can soothe skin problem like itching and reddish sunburn mark. Mix any of them with water into a thick paste and apply in affected area.
